Gracie Rae is The Movement Paradigm® therapy dog, bringing comfort, joy, and calm connection to our patients and community.
At the office, Gracie is often the first warm greeting you receive. Whether she is wagging her tail at the door, lying beside you during your session, or quietly resting under your chair, she has a special way of helping people feel safe, supported, and at ease.
Gracie is a certified therapy dog through Bright and Beautiful Therapy Dogs, a nationally recognized therapy dog organization. She is also an AKC Fit Dog, AKC Canine Good Citizen, AKC Community Canine, and AKC Trick Dog. Her training reflects not only her intelligence and eagerness to learn, but also her gentle temperament, emotional awareness, and love of connecting with people.
Outside of The Movement Paradigm®, Gracie visits hospitals, nursing homes, preschools, schools, and community events, where she offers comfort, companionship, and plenty of smiles. She loves performing tricks, helping children learn about dog body language, and creating meaningful moments with people of all ages.
Gracie also enjoys canine freestyle and agility, two activities that combine movement, communication, play, and teamwork. She hopes to compete in one or both in the future.
More than anything, Gracie reminds us of something we deeply believe at The Movement Paradigm®: healing begins with safety, connection, and presence. Sometimes the most powerful support comes not through words, but through a quiet moment, a gentle nudge, or a calm companion by your side.
