Dr. Becky Quintangeli, Director of the Women’s Health Program, has her Doctorate in Physical Therapy as well as a Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training. Dr. Quintangeli grew up knowing she wanted to help others live the best life they could. After practicing as an Athletic Trainer for a few years she knew there was more she could offer and began her journey to become a Physical Therapist. Her extensive experience as an Athletic Trainer as well as her certifications in Pelvic Floor and Barefoot Training allows her to treat patients and clients with a whole-person approach in mind.

Dr. Quintangeli’s graduate research was conducted on the connection between the neck and vestibular system, which gives her another unique lens to look through.  She loves to help patients with chronic pain, orthopedic injuries, pelvic floor pain/dysfunction, and inflammation. Using our matrix, she aims to assess the underlying causes of why patients may not feel their best.

When assessing and treating the pelvic floor, her integrative approach helps patients get back to what they love doing. She understands relaxing and strengthening muscles is only half the equation to treating the pelvic floor. Creating proper habits and/or mechanics coupled with training the core from the ground up allows for improved quality of life.

Dr. Quintangeli also contributes to professional journals and podcasts and provides excellent usable education on the Movement Paradigm Women’s Health Community on Facebook. Make sure to check it out!

While attending school, her mom was diagnosed with cancer and began treatment. Sadly, her mom lost her battle while she was still attending her doctoral program. After watching her mom fight for her life, Dr. Quintangeli recognized how precious life, movement, and well-being are. Therefore, she is dedicating her career to providing the highest quality care for her patients through mindset, nutrition, and movement. Dr. Quintangeli wants her patients to feel educated, empowered, and able to live their best life.
